He's got 3 inches on me.
Pisses me off to at least not be within an inch if him. Kinda took for granted that I would be.

I'm taller than most of my immediate elders.
Then again being 5'8" and taller than a bunch of old cajuns isn't really that impressive
ETA: my brother is 6'-6'1" and towers over everyone at family events

Dad is 5'5". I'm 6'. Though, both of my grandfathers are/were tall.
