I seen this argument made a lot of times but there’s no reason why it would be strictly conventional warfare. Unconventional is where modern militaries still have issues. If you want to take down a larger, much better force, you have to use unconventional tactics.

I'm not saying I agree with him; I'm saying that's what I believe he was trying to convey.
Ultimately, unless you can cut the head off the snake and take the capital, revolutions are simply exercises in making the conflict so unpalatable that the State says "frick it, just go away".

I have almost unfettered access to top quality drugs, I can pull up just about any song I want and listen to it as many times as I feel like. I can open up apps on my phone and connect to whores at the drop of a dime, porn is basically free and PS5 dropped.

I grew up in the 70s/1st half of the 80s without AC, and without a whole goddam lot of other things that most people had. It makes life these days unbelievably easy.
