Spending 100k on slightly used Carrera that will help you get pussy makes a good bit of sense.
Spending 100k on a new Jeep Cherokee makes zero sense.

Well done.
This flew way over the heads of most posters who were still suckin on their mom’s tit back in 1997….. and especially the ones who were born long after 1997.

Then why aren't all company vehicles 100k SUVs?

Let’s face it, 100k isn’t what it used to be. It’s hard to find a decent SUV under 40 anymore.

You only have to pay 1/120th of it a month, baw.

120mo loan baw, YOLO, can't take your money with you when you die

I’m about to invest a couple thousand into my ‘07 Honda to keep it going another 100k (pushing 300 now).

The trend of "Keeping up with the Jones" must still be alive and well even with $4.00/gallon gas in this country.
Maybe people just like nice, new vehicles and don’t share your financial philosophy? Why is every expensive purchase labeled keeping up with someone? Maybe the individual has the money to spend and wants whatever it is they’re buying?

All those SUVs are just minivans for people too pretentious to drive minivans

I saw that commercial too and was shocked. They acted like it was a good price

Wife’s next car will be an LX600
$100k+
No problem at all with it.

Exactly, just bought a 4Runner at $60k out the door. That includes extended warranty and prepaid service

It’s a Land Cruiser. We like luxury vehicles and actually travel with dogs to CO regularly.

It’s just like the NINJA loans they gave out for mortgages back in the day. Anyone can now get a 10 year loan and nice vehicle. $1000 10 year loans.

New and used prices are up 30% in some markets. But if you need a vehicle there isn’t much you can do about it. Personally I’m gonna get what I’ve always trusted.
I’m a Toyota man myself.
I drive em till they bleed oil. I went from a Tacoma to a Highlander and last week traded that in (w/ 300k miles on it) for a 4Runner. Plan on keeping it for 4 years then giving it to my daughter when she turns 16. Will prolly get another 4Runner. Show me an American made engine that performs as consistently as Toyota.

You could have gotten a Volvo for that. Bought my wife one last year and it handles better than any SUV I’ve ever had

And also if you were so inclined we to spend that much, seems line many much better choices out there.
