Who you calling “us”?

There are more and more people who have found other ways to work or earn money... Uber, Waitr delivery's, mowing yards, cleaning homes for people and side hustles from home that they don't want or need those types of jobs anymore.

Nah, we just have an assload of morons running around in society that either don't work or just frick up everything they touch, including their own lives.
BING fricking O. We need to start letting morons and their offspring die.
Sounds cruel but the socialist are going to exterminate the non producers when they get total control anyway.
Right now these parasites are just useful idiots who will have no value afterwards.

Our economy is so large and our birth rate is negative. We’re actually looking at future total economic collapse in the face .

If everyone didn't feel like they were owed something we'd be just fine.

UN expects world’s population to reach 8 billion on Nov. 15
The world is really really big, and people are comparatively really really small. The majority of the habitable surface of the planet is not only uninhabited but also largely untouched by humans. If we can stop lowering the collective IQ of the population I think we are going to be just fine.
But people are dumb and lazy, and they are trending dumber and lazier. So we will probably kill ourselves before we reach any real socioeconomic or technologically advanced level. Forget star trek. We’ll never get there.

Mother Nature says yes, but she is working on it

This was inevitable. The Uber rich are getting wealthier multiples that could pay for one more extra worker at every grocery store in the country and give everyone a dollar raise for 50 years and still be billionaires.

Starting to lean toward this thought.
Everywhere I go, things are understaffed. Fast food restaurants have been that way for years now, but I'm talking more about grocery stores, health clinics, retail stores, gas stations.
People standing in lines, just generally waiting. And some of the workers are not great, but for the most part they are working fine. They aren't rushing like crazy, but they are working.
Sometimes I feel like people get the idea that things were better in the nifty fifties because the population was significantly smaller. You could talk to someone at a store and they could provide customer service without feeling they were neglecting their job.
Maybe it's depression, but everywhere I go I feel like everything is really unextraordinary, particularly when you consider how much things cost.
Dear Nextdoor.
We didn't have this problem not that long ago.
Then Democrats took over. So, yes, we have too many of them.
I suggest 1 round - 1 Democrat
We need 81,000,000 rounds.
Problem solved.

You are too ignorant to be in the conversation.

God damned! What a fricking moron.
quote:WHOA! Very liberal PolitiFact says you could run it for 9 months.
"The 550 U.S. billionaires together are worth $2.5 trillion. If we confiscated 100% of their wealth, we'd raise enough to run the federal government for less than eight months."

The numbers
The viral image is a Feb. 1, 2019, tweet by Antony Davies, an economics professor at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh and a fellow with the free-market Foundation for Economic Education.
At the time, Check Your Fact found that the billionaires’ wealth would have covered about nine months of spending, not less than eight months.
So, what do the latest figures show?
Estimates put the total wealth of America’s billionaires at $5 trillion, while the federal government spent nearly $7 trillion in the fiscal 2021, which ended Sept. 30.
Here are the breakdowns.
With its 2021 list of world billionaires, Forbes estimated there were 724 U.S. billionaires as of March 5, the most in any one nation, worth a total of $4.4 trillion.
More recently, the Institute for Policy Studies estimated that as of Oct. 15 there were 745 U.S. billionaires, together worth slightly more than $5 trillion. That’s a 70% collective increase in fortune since the start of the COVID-19 outbreak on March 18, 2020, according to the institute.
As for the federal government, it spent $6.82 trillion in fiscal 2021, which ended Sept. 30, according to the Treasury Department.

There are too many people who have multiple children when they shouldn’t have one.

A recession and people realizing they can’t skate buy is the equal and opposite reaction for what happened the past few years. It sucks for all of us but people need to get off their asses to survive.
