re: Are there any places in Louisiana besides Ruston that can support a Bucee’s?

My dad wanted some spicy tenders Friday night. I order on the app as I'm leaving a Walmart that's five minutes away. I get there park and find the door locked. I see a car at the drive thru so I pull up behind it. As the guy pulls around to the window a voice says welcome to Popeyes, we've got a 20 minute wait on chicken. I tell her I had ordered on the app and she says, "It will still be 20 minutes on the chicken."
They just don't want my money.
This is the new Ruston location on Hwy 33, better known as the Farmerville Hwy. The location by tech is one of the best in the state but the new one must have bad management. I drove to the one on the south side of town before the new one opened. I'll go there anytime we want Popeyes in the future.

Future I 49 at Hwy 311
I 10 at Hwy 44
Bothe locations have available real estate , not sure about qualified labor

Two things I can guarantee in my life.
The McDonald’s ice cream machine will be broken
There will be a wait on chicken at Popeyes.

I didn't want it there. I take that exit to get to my folks home. Would make it a nightmare.

They have a small one off 290 in Cypress,Tx.
They finished one in Auburn, Alabama. Passed it the other day.

Believe Bucees was slated to open shop off I12 in BR but Louisiana political frickery killed the deal.
Louisiana is going to be Louisiana, but Bucees was pulling some shenanigans with that BR location. Heard that from someone involved with the negotiations for the deal.

As long as y’all insist on going to Popeyes, they’ll keep giving bad service

They should build one around Lafayette soon, half the time you might as well stop and take a break on 10 Eastbound as you are probably going to be stuck in Baton Rouge traffic for hours half the time anyway.
There is one going up around Long Beach Mississippi now

or St. Tammany would be good.
Are you high? The traffic is a nightmare already.

Definitely not in New Iberia...

I like how the OP couches this question as if Buceee's are public works projects, like canals, arenas, and airports.

Hammond would be the best spot. Two interstates running north to south and east to west run through it.

With one going in Pass Christian I figure they will build one further West than the north shore. I think they’ll eventually build somewhere between Crowley and Breaux Bridge.

Hammond or Slidell would be ideal

Somewhere along I-12 in Livingston, Tangipahoa, or St. Tammany would be good. Growing area with tons of traffic and plenty of white trash to work there.
