It's shown great promise as a temporary cure for:
1)calmness
2)open nasal passages(it'll close them right up)
It seems to also have magical properties that make clothes disappear from ladies.

Yes, but not like you're thinking. As said before, it's used as an anesthetic for some ENT and dental procedures. I've seen it used for a life-threatening nose bleed once. But it comes up to the floor under lock and key.
The guy getting it didn't enjoy it.

Got a cut near my eye in 2nd grade. Doctor used coke as anesthesia before stitching it up. Apparently they use it because it won't damage optical nerves.

When I was 18 I had an ENT give me an injection of cocaine in my gums above the front teeth to anesthetize my nose before he cauterized it. Best high of my life. Almost immediate effect as it hit the blood stream. My face went numb. Didn't last long at all which seemed unfortunate at the time. The ENT made joking comments about it throughout the entire procedure.
This was back in the 1970's. Cocaine sold for about $100 per gram, so it was a special occasion drug. It never had the same appeal to me afterward as the rush from snorting just didn't come close to the rush from the injection.

It's the only local anesthetic that also vasoconstrics. Meaning it numbs and stops bleeding at the same time.

I got a piece of hot metal in my eye, I'd put that pain up there with any of my 30+ kidney stones. RN came over and put a couple drops in and it was almost instant relief. But they made me keep my hands away from face so I wouldn't make it worse until doc got there.
