For those who have Snapchat, pinch with two fingers on the "take picture" screen. That pulls up the map. Go over to Key West where there are a bunch of unconcerned people Snapchatting away Iike they are not very concerned that a giant hurricane is heading straight for them.

Whoa, solid tip. Thanks. That's some crazy shite.

So mandatory evacuations don't mean doodly then? I never see people being arrested for not obeying something mandatory.

Mandatory evacuations don't mean the police are going to pull you out of your house. That's unconstitutional. It just means that if you're dumb enough to stay, no emergency personnel is going to go out there to save your retarded arse until the storm blows over. You're on your own.

Like where? As far as I know they can't physically force you to leave your house.

South Carolina they can physically remove you from your house but the gov said they wouldn't waste resources on that. He made it sound like they were one of the few states that could legally do it

My post from earlier but I heard that on Fox when they were interviewing him. Surprised me as well

That's surprising. Would a anyone actually enforce that though? Seems like more trouble than what it's worth.

People rode out Katrina and survived down in Venice and Port Sulphur. You wouldn't catch me doing that, but it's not certain death.

They'll probably be isolated for a while if they do survive.

Yeah. I remember the newsman saying they found 5 bodies in Empire before I ever even got a drop of rain in Baton Rouge.

Key West has a county jail, right? That would be the safest spot to ride this storm out

The cheapest real estate and built by the lowest bidder with government interference. I'd rather strap myself to the top of a palm tree.
