Any form of policing would immediately be seen as racist or oppressive. You cant win as an inner city policeman.

The Supreme Court has ruled they have no requirement to act during a school shooting. Why the hell do you think they'd put themselves in danger for your business?

Probably unable just due to numbers and unwilling because it would be futile.

The police have no duty to protect your property, but they will give you a report number for your insurance.

What good are these governments if they cannot protect citizens at this basic level? Why should taxpayers continue to fund such impotence?

Yet they will break into your house using a no knock warrant in the middle of the night, shoot your husband, and arrest you for the murder.

They will steal your money just because it's there, because frick assumption of innocence.

All while Congress members use knowledge of things they vote on to get rich.

The government does not care about you, and sees you as a means to an end.

Turn on your tv. You’ll see thousands of officers out there right now doing all they can while staying within their orders to gain control.

The fragility of our government institutions is an interesting and disturbing observation. It doesn’t seem like it would take as much as I once thought to topple the whole damn thing or at the very least severely stress the system.

COV-19 showed this as well. The disease isn't very deadly and the country was crippled. Image a situation where 25% of those contracting the virus die and it impacts young, healthy individuals. The world can't handle that mentally.

These riots just show how much bifurcation there is across the country. We all live in bubbles.

Please, don't misunderstand: I have the utmost respect for those guys who put it on the line every day while their families wonder whether Dad (or Mom) will come home at night. I'm not talking about them. Rather, I'm talking about these pension-for -life, do-nothing-but-make-speeches "leaders."

You're about to see the rise of private security forces.

it's one of the top-3 functions of government, but our governments are too busy doing shite they're not designed to do, nay, prohibited to do.
