Groundhogs in PA were just as bad.

But they don't smell like a skunk obviously

Far less likely in Louisiana.
Coons, armadillos, dogs, and possums mostly.

One time commuting to work I saw a dead skunk in the middle of the road. The next day there was a second dead skunk next to it. The next day there was a third dead skunk with them. My only explanation was either this back road was where skunks go to commit suicide, or the first flattened skunk was a female in heat and skunks 2 and 3 were males attracted to the scent. Pussy - even skunk pussy - remains undefeated.

I also went to Hawaii recently and drove the only Hwy that bisects the Big Island. Holy crap there were at least 100 dead goats splattered all over the road throughout that drive. They just have a bunch of feral goats there with no fences and those things must have zero awareness of cars. A goat would likely do some serious car damage so I have no idea why those idiots don't build fences. If you ever go to the Big Island, make sure you get the comprehensive insurance on your rental car and drive that road during daylight and like an old lady. Goats, goats, everywhere.

they're everywhere in TN rn too.

I went for a run early this morning and had to cut it short bc the smell was literally every part of my usual route.

They are in south west Oklahoma. Every hunting season we make the trip and have no less than 100 everywhere we travel dead on the side of the road.

Had one that must have gotten run over outside of our camp last weekend. It smelled awful outside that morning waking up at 4:30. When we got back to the camp after the morning hunt, the damn inside of the place still smelled like a skunk.

My brother-in-law ran over a skunk when we were up in Mansura, La. attending a funeral for an older relative. It was nighttime and we were heading back to the house we were staying at.

I was so glad it was his car and not mine because no matter how much he tried to wash off that smell at the carwash, it just lingered and he had to smell it all the way back to N.O.

It's amazing how far the stink travels. Smelled it before I saw. A quarter mile later, I actually saw it. Smell lingered at least another two miles and the car smelled of it when I got home.

Atleast the skunk smell helps cover up the stench of your typical meth infused Kentuckian

There are 3 dead skunks on my 20 minute drive to work. More dead ones just keep popping up on my drives (none from me).

They are attracted to people smoking weed in their cars.
