Can we “fish” some of a certain kind that are a lot more dangerous to humans than sharks in certain land areas to “control” the population as well?

No they went on vacation to the Caribbean. Some of y’all are so fricking dumb

Not all of us follow them on social media to know exactly where they are. Besides Mr. Smarty pants, how do you know those are pics/posts from last week and they just waited until this week to post them so no one would know when they were out of town?

Single red and purple (jellyfish) today.

Sheriff on the beach today thinks tomorrow will be double red.

We just got back from Miramar beach yesterday. We saw 3 sharks Saturday morning 10 feet off the shore. They have helicopters flying over the beach every 5 minutes. The resort next to us had guys on jet skies trying to push them away, which didn't work. Also jelly fish was out but didn't sting us. We stayed in the ankle deep water the whole time. This is this first time I got a good since in humanity in a while, when someone spotted a shark, it got shouted down the beach to others pretty quickly and everyone assisted in getting people out of the water.

Couple years ago at Cape San Blas the water was the best I've ever seen it. Crystal clear, 0 waves. We were all circled up drinking beer, sitting on floats, I was on the sandbar on my knees. I turn around and about a 7-8 ft shark is swimming right for us. I stood up, it freaked out and swam off in the opposite direction tail splashing me.

I calmly walked my arse out the water, didn't tell anyone where I was going or why until I got past them. Every man for himself

They were around me while fishing the beautiful Elmers Island beach this past weekend. I just gave them a snack every now and again and they left me alone.

This is a bad bad idea. The rhythm of the rotor actually attracts sharks sending pulses through the water.

The jet skies are not bad but also not very effective as they mainly disturb near surface areas and sharks prefer to strike from beneath, deep to shallow.

So, you're having those sharks associate people with food instead of danger?

Nice work!

I don't know which it is, but immediately following the attacks they made it very clear that double reds were flying for all Walton county beaches.

Bro, they are literally ON the beaches

I'll say this for 'em; they're generous AF.

They don't mind picking up a tab, and they tell some funny-arse stories.

Just don't mention whales, it's a real buzz kill for 'em.
