Huh? Not sure I've ever heard someone hate Doctors.

During the pandemic the OT went on a major nurse hate run. Think the OT car salesmen and secretaries got their feelings hurt that nurses were called "essential workers" and "first responders" and not them so it became cool to hate on nurses.

Yes they’ve somehow taken over the top spot from lawyers

The fact they’ll list prices of homes because it’s a profit for them shows all you need to know

My issue with real estate agents is how many of them think that because they made 6 figures in a year working 20 hours a week that they’re qualified to be social media life coaches. It’s corny as hell

There are good ones and bad ones. Not everyone is an O-T Baller managing multiple real estate transactions on their own. Some people have no clue what to do, particularly negotiating a contract or managing punch lists at closing.

Working with a real estate agent provides expert guidance, market insight, and skilled negotiation for a smoother transaction. Agents manage legal and logistical tasks, connect you with exclusive listings or buyers, and help you avoid costly mistakes. Ultimately, they keep the process efficient and ensure you feel informed and supported throughout.

Tik Tok choreographed dance videos and being notorious partiers off the clock made it cool to hate on nurses.

Real estate agents are pretty pointless.

Yes because of how aggressive a lot of them are in their sales approach. They hound you as soon as you sign up and give your email for updates from Zillow.

It's worth noting though that the vast majority real estate agents fail and end up leaving the profession. Any dipshit can get a real estate license but not everyone has the networking skills to build a client base and market themselves.

Can anyone explain to me how anyone working on commission can represent the interests of the buyer?

It’s amazing to me how many people don’t interview multiple agents before picking one and they wonder why they aren’t satisfied.

you've got to know going into it that you will end up doing most of their legwork for them and you have to keep on their arse until the job is done, there are some exceptions

Most women real estate pictures are from when they’re in their 20s and they’re actually 52 years old.! When you meet them in person you don’t even know who you’re talking with

I was a 30m agent before I retired. There aren’t many people who hate realtors more than a good one.

Most, I’d say 80-90% couldn’t care less about a client unless it closes. Anything beyond br/ba, price and maybe school district they can’t be bothered with. Once the check clears they might not even remember the clients name.

I had to clean up a lot of their messes over the years.
