Are fires, mudslides, and earthquakes in California the wrath of God?

Just think about it. The big guy upstairs probably knee that piece of land was gonna one day turn into a heathen hell hole full of yellow dog democrats so what better place to put mudslides and tremors to teach those sodomites a lesson throw in a drought too so maybe they will come back to jesus. He couldn't put hurricanes on them too because he had to save something for Florida obviously.
