Obviously the above picture is purely fantasy and doesn't represent the typical user.

I still use them. One in each ear most days for both phones.

I use one all the time. One of the many tools of my profession. It's not a fashion statement.

When I am not on the phone it is in my pocket.

I'd rather have a dick growing out of my forehead than wear on of those things.

I cannot understand those headphones. Several folks at the gym have them.

You're telling me it's really better/more convenient to have a giant headphone apparatus around your neck than just having a cord?

No clue either. Seems like something you would get off of a shitty infomercial.

For some damn reason people are stuck on the idea that wireless=better.

Sometimes it is. Very often it's not.

Meh, wires suck. Not the quality, just the wires themselves. Especially in the gym.

And holding a phone to your ear looks a lot more stupid than walking hands free.

No, talking outloud to an invisible person while around one or more other people looks more stupid

Same here. I probably average 60+ calls per day between contractors and clients. Would be hard to function without it. It's so convenient and I don't wear it in public like some people do. They also don't look anything like the photo in the OP either. I use the Plantronics Voyager Legend and it's awesome!

For some reason I get pissed off when I see the Muslim women with the hajibs on with a cell phone stuck in them.

I want to smack it out of their stupid headwrap

I have a pair of $25 Bluetooth earbuds that I use all the time. No apparatus just a wire that connects each side. They are great and very convenient for people who run. I do use them for phone calls as well but music is their primary function.

Exactly. Even running them under my shirt, the wires were always getting in the way

THIS

I frickin hate when I go up to the counter in a store and the clerk is using one. They'll talk, so I think he/she is talking to me. I respond or tell them what I need and they look at me like I'm stupid while pointing to their ear. Motherfricker tell whoever you're on the phone with to hold on before I get to the counter.
