I went to a concert at Bridgestone Arena and was surprised at how small the seats were. I’m not sure a truly big person could sit in them.

On another note, I had an extremely overweight guy sit next to me on a plane. He was one of the nicest people I’ve sat next to even if I couldn’t use the armrest.

True but I've also heard the "muh freedom" argument from GOP middle America fats knowing how healthy insurance policy holders and tax payers subsidize their fatness.

It might be me but I don't think inconveniencing other people is a freedom. That's entitled lazy liberal mindset and should be banished from the GOP.

And no I've never been fat and wouldn't let myself get that way. I do agree people need to get off there arse and walk, run, swim, and eat less. But I could never say this shite. You never know what a person is or has been through in life. Or what sickness they have. It's just being a dick

Cant help but wonder, be honest, how much do YOU weigh? You sure seem ridiculously offended by a forum post.

There should be a section in tiger stadium for people with a lower body fat %. Even if you're not directly next to them, a handful of fat people in your row will give you less room.

Well, you can claim arenas should accommodate customers. They are a business after all and should want the customers to be happy. Installing larger seats will make skinnies and fatties happy. But it may increase prices. Maybe they should have a section like first class on airplanes with larger seats for a higher price?

Oklahoma State recently widened all seats in the football stadium. This dropped capacity but was well worth it. Of course, much easier to do with bench style seats.

Movie theaters have pretty much all done this and no I don't think it was just the home recliner angle. The seats now can accommodate the fats.

Definitely was a great show last time I went. The guitarist was one from Alice Cooper. Tone was phenomenal. This was several yrs ago. Not many fatsos at the place that I was aware of? But fatty is disgusting

No, intruding into the person’s seat next to you because you’re too fat to fit in one seat is being a dick. We both paid for a whole seat, so why should I only get 2/3 of my seat space because someone else takes up their whole seat plus 1/3 of mine? Buy 2 seats if you can’t fit in 1

And don’t give me the sob story about not knowing what a person has been through or what medical condition they have. Those are few and far between. Most of the people taking up more than their own seat space do so because they’ve been through too many fast food drive thrus and not enough treadmills.
