aranchnii precursor to boudin balls

In the 70's there was an Italian restaurant not to far from the campus that had a dish called aranchni that was a fried pasta ball with a tomato based sauce. this was the origin of boudin balls

Aranchini, Italians serve it in pyramid firm. Sorry doof boudin is different and been around longer though...

Probably referring to Gino’s.. they are made with risotto and are delicious

First of all it’s Arancini. It’s not an obscure food or something it’s very famous and popular.

Second where are you getting that they are related to Boudin Balls?

It day old rice, not pasta, that’s usually stuffed with cheese.
It’s basically fried risotto balls. You make risotto one night with extra rice, chill the extra rice over night, and make Arancini the next day.

I used to work at Gino’s for a couple years in college. Gino was a thief and Lawrence was fricking maniac. Good times.
