Apple Shares Details on Cleaning and Protecting Your Apple Card in New Support Document

If the Apple Card gets dirty, Apple recommends gently wiping it with a soft, damp microfiber cloth. A soft microfiber cloth moistened with isopropyl alcohol can also be used for stain removal.
Apple says that household cleaners, abrasives, solvents, ammonia, aerosol sprays and compressed air must be avoided, and warns that some fabrics, such as leather and denim, have the potential to cause permanent discoloration.
Due to the multi-layer coating process that gives the titanium card its white finish, Apple has detailed rules for proper storage.
The Apple Card should be stored in a wallet, pocket, or bag constructed from soft materials, and it should not touch another credit card because doing so could cause scratching.

Which is weird because Apple doesn't carry nearly as much clout as it did about 5-10 years ago.

I'll admit I have one and it's pretty cool I made my wife watch the part where you activate it by holding your phone up to the little envelope it comes in several times
I'm easily impressed by branding/packaging/trickery

Curious what their required Credit score is to be qualified for it?
I'd imagine a lot of the younger folks will be displeased when they get denied due to lack of credit

Yeah the titanium is nice. Our main CC is the metal amex platinum and I wish they'd go to titanium (or even back to plastic). It's so much heavier that it falls out of my wallet sometimes.
I've got a feeling the metal card thing is going to get pretty old at some point.

2% is only with Apple Pay. It's 1% on everything else. How often do you actually buy Apple products from the Apple Store to utilize that 3%? The Amazon card has 5% cash back on Amazon and they have Apple products for much cheaper than the Apple Store.

People with low 600 credit scores are getting approved
It really pisses me off that Apple will have people thinking getting this credit card is some kind of status symbol. People will be getting themselves in debt in order to have cool colors show on their virtual Apple Card.

I'm not saying it's the best thing since sliced bread, and I'm not getting into an endless back and forth on here. but to call it just a status symbol is laughable.
