This is dumb, you can reap the benefits of credit cards and just pay them off monthly. If you auto pay the full amount each month you don’t even notice it and you help your credit score if you want to make a major purchase instead of just staying cash only.
My parents tried to teach me this same garbage and when it came time for me to move out on my own and I had no credit and they wouldn’t co-sign, I had a hard fricking time renting an apartment. frick that stupid no credit card bullshite.

Good luck trying to fly, rent a car or travel internationally w/o a decent credit card.
The premise that having a cc and paying it off every month/managing it responsibly to your advantage is just not a valid premise gaucho.

Maybe if y’all weren’t taking so many international vacations and renting cars instead of buying reliable used cars and freewheeling with credit cards you could get your finances in order

I have zero interest in an Apple credit card, but the security features are pretty interesting and where the industry will likely go.
