Thought this was an appropriate PSA for the rapidly aging OT.
In summary, many of you could be walking around right now smelling like “old person” to others and not even know it.

Known colloquially as "old people smell," this aroma stems primarily from the compound 2-nonenal. This compound emerges from the breakdown of fatty acids in the skin and tends to accumulate as we grow older (especially after the age of 40).

This aroma is not necessarily indicative of poor hygiene—it's a natural part of the aging process and can even be detected in impeccably clean environments like well-maintained senior residences.

I have to imagine quite a bit of anti-aging research and science is specifically focused on this, especially in the esthetician stuff

It took science to determine this?

Pro Tip:
Just shite your pants.
That tricks them every time. They'll never know your old.

I refrain for washing my arse to mask it.

Is "Old People Smell" just the smell of stale alcohol?

I’ll take senior odor over “outside smell.” Such a weird phenomenon that outside smell.

I just turned 60, I drink the cologne to smell fresh all day, it is like that full body deodorant.
