Part 1 of 4 in a series produced by Daily Wire. The series aims to debunk conspiracy theories as well as tell the extraordinary history behind the Space Race as we approach the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 mission - the flight that landed the first men on the Moon.

For people so convinced the moon landing occurred they sure spend a lot of time debunking “myths” and “conspiracy theories”.

Wonder why all the round Earthers do not spend as much time fighting the flat Earthers.

Uhhh........ they do.

It’s called science class, and it’s taught across the entirety of the country every single day.

Because conspiracy theorists who deny we ever went to the moon are a small, but vocal minority who have quite a large online presence. The goal here is to have an educated populace who doesn't fall for BS.

Because all you have to do is ride a commercial jetliner up to an altitude of about 40,000 feet to find out the earth is, in fact, round.

Joe Rogan talked about the film footage of the moon landing possibly being faked and that fed the rumors. I only caught a few minutes of that, but is that discussed in any of these pods?

Aww for Christs' sake. Not this shite again... If you ever want to see how stupid people actually are, break out a Moon Landing thread and watch them line up to make fools of themselves...

My hope is that some people took copies home like some did with old TV shows. There have been copies of long gone TV shows show up in peoples closets.

Quad VTR's (that still work) however are getting scarce.

Rogan was saying he believed we went to the moon but that due to lack of footage they may of used tapes of the astronauts training on earth in moon like scenarios. Hence the wires you see pulling them up, etc. Seems the most plausible.

Do people actually believe the moon landing was fake or is this one of those OT troll things?

Mainly because my grandpa was chief engineer of the 3rd stage of the Saturn V... and not Magellan

We went to the moon. But most of the footage was faked.

Not Apollo related but space related

I watched some home footage yesterday that my dad filmed at NSTL now called Stennis. He worked for Martin back then and owned a vhs video camera in 1980.
The footage is a three cluster burn that lasted several minutes. May be before the first shuttle flight
There is then footage inside the test stand of his team members working inside the ET that is mounted in the stand. They were taking measurements inside. Possible warping was happening after a few tests
Then he has footage of the astronauts John Young and crew at their welcome back celebration at Michaud. St Aug marching band marched in.
All of this with his big camera, tripod, and side equipment. Can’t even think I about getting camera in these areas now days.
