Apartment Holding Us Hostage Despite Beaches and Public Gyms Opening

Dear Facebook,
My apartment complex decided that they are going to keep all of our amenities locked up until Phase II starts on June 5th. They have continued to charge us the full amount for our rent despite part of our rent being an amenities fee. Meanwhile, these assholes have kept five people in the office “working” since all of this started even though the clubhouse is closed. Yes I’m bitching and yes I’m venting.

My gym has frozen our memberships and applied for the PPP like a real business.

A friend of mine is going through a similar situation with their HOA. They pay over $200 A MONTH to use the amenities on the property and the management said there will be no forgiveness whatsoever because “(they) still have to pay people.”
