the only thing for sure was it wasnt in any way connected to republicans or conservatives or we would have known the whole story in a matter of days.

I don't get people who mock conspiracy theorists. There will always be crazy people, but your average conspiracy theorist exists because we have such a dishonest and corrupt government that many don't believe a word they're told.

The crown prince was unharmed, and the rival prince was arrested, imprisoned, and had much of his wealth confiscated.
The FBI is trying to keep the whole thing quiet because the arms smuggler was one used routinely by the FBI and CIA for all kinds of clandestine operations, and was allegedly involved in a lot more than just smuggling weapons. He was supposedly tied to sex trafficking and a pedophile ranch out in the Philippines.
However, all of this is just speculation.

The average American has the attention span of a gnat. When you combine that with the fact that mainstream media outlets have essentially been absent in providing any critical analysis about the investigation, the majority of the public doesn't care.

So they went through all of that to cover up some CIA operation, but they didn't think providing a clear motive was a worthwhile endeavor?
I'm just trying to get a handle on what you and others are suggesting.

I get what you are saying but that doesn't mean his motive wasn't just that he's crazy and wanted to shoot a bunch of people. The article even said he just wanted to be infamous.
