I'm in my mid 40's and wake up every morning at 4:30am like clockwork. Problem is I go to bed around 11:30 so I'm probably working on a massive, mid 50's heart attack while taking big breaths of BR "fresh" air and feeding my impending Louisiana tumors.

Been doing it for 3+ years I dont even need an alarm clock. More than half the time I end up waking up 15-30 minutes earlier than 415
waking up isnt the problem, but staying awake during the middle of the day is...coffee temporarily helps
usually get to bed at 9, 930 latest
it sucks, but its the only time I have to workout throughout the day

You never need to ask if someone wakes up at 4 am because they will tell you with a sense of superiority.

Does anyone have a life like the TV shows and movies? Whole family sitting around eating a 7 course breakfast, dad is reading the paper, it's a bright sunny day outside and the kids haven't left for school yet

Getting up before the sun is no way to live it’s not healthy

I’m 4:45 every M-F, and it’s such a gamechanger. The first 5 minutes are a mofo, but I love getting into the gym when it’s pitch black. The only folks in there are people really putting in work, and it’s got such a great energy.

I wake up at 4:15 everyday, go to work for 6, come home for 3:15. Go to bed about 8:30, fall asleep about 10, rinse, wash, repeat.

It starts when you have kids and by the time they sleep in some you are just used to it and can't sleep late anymore. Also, some schools start early. My daughter's first bell rings at 7am.
I have a somewhat flexible schedule at work so I just started going to work earlier. When I go to the office I'm usually pulling into the parking lot at 6:50 or so.

During COVID, yes. Now I've mellowed to 4:30-5:00 am....

I get up everyday around 4:30, but not by choice. This is usually around the time my dog wakes me up to go outside.

5:30 for me. Sleep time is usually 1:30-2 (am).
Usually have an hour nap around 630 pm unless I have something planned.
Gym time usually 7-8 am

Screw that. I need at least 6-7 hours and I try to get 8.

Up at 5:15am-5:30am, in bed by 9pm daily.
Consistency is the key.
When I learned that it was acceptable to go to bed earlier on the weekends everything changed.

Just stay up for 3days. The mind gets so creative. Sure you'll crash, say things you mean/don't mean to loved ones and sleep 20 hours afterward. All that comes later, ride the wave NOW.

No way I would want to take up that early just because I would have to go to bed by 8-9 pm to get enough sleep.
