I've come to the realization I'll know I'll be alone forever. It can be depressing
One of the reasons I've stopped going out to places is because it's painful to see so many happy couples together and here I am eating and drinking alone
The holidays are the worst
There are ways out... Go to reddit.com/roastme for more insightful tips on how to make it out of this rut.

That actually sounds nice

Once upon a time a prince asked a beautiful princess “Will you marry me?”
The princess said no.
And the prince lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and fricked cute skinny girls and hunted and raced cars and went to naked bars and dated women half his age and drank beer, Jack Daniel´s and Captain Morgan and drank the milk from the box and never heard bitching and went to rock concerts and kept his apartment and his favorite jeans and never got cheated on while working and his family and his friends thought he was fricking cool as hell and had tons of money & left the toilet seat up. THE END.

Yes. My wife left me and filed for divorce. Both of us believe our marriage was a valid, sacramental marriage in the Catholic Church. Unless there is some miraculous reconciliation (which is in Gods hands alone) I will live the rest of my days celibate and without a woman in my life.
I am using this path as a way to pray more, reflect more, and try to help others as much as possible.
One thing I am not is alone - the Lord is with me if I listen.

I didn't meet the one until I was 29. I often thought I would be single forever.

At 30 there's a good chance I'm going to be in that number. Not overweight or bad looking I just have horrible social skills/anxiety. Haven't given up all hope yet but the more I see people in relationships I realize just how different they are from me. Being single and alone when young is one thing but being that way when an old man is very depressing.

Yep, but I'm ok with it.

What's the reason you are alone William???? I am not dependent on anyone, but would not like being alone. I see what it's done to my brother in law. He lost his wife of 25 years and seems miserable. Just retired two years ago with all these dreams of taking his boat to like Florida and shite like that . Even built his wife her dream house on the Amite. Never had a chance to enjoy it like he hoped for. He has a girlfriend but tries to hard to find someone like his wife. That just doesn't work.

Look on the bright side. You'll never have to give away half your stuff to some greedy, manipulative beach.

How old are you man? You sound like You're on the road to some serious depression. I'd get help: therapy, hotline, something.

I just spent the day at the beach with my boys while my girl worked and I'm getting bitched out. Stay alone.

Walt has had some rrious driving issues in the past. Not sure he even is allowed to drive. That can put a kink in anyone's social life.

My uncle didn't get married until he was 47. Not a bad looking dude, has a good job, etc. Just kind of anxious around chicks. Probably only dated 5 women until that point, but they're pretty happy together and seem to be having fun.
