Anyone seeing crazy bug (mosquito) infestation tonight?

Literally covering outside of house and about 12000 made it inside when wife opened the door!

Just eat a bunch of Tabasco Sauce and let them have at it - they'll fly off and explode shortly thereafter. It's science.

I have been seeing a ton of mosquito hawks. Maybe all the larva are hatching at once after the drought.

I know people call crane flies mosquito hawks. But growing up in New Orleans, we called dragonflies mosquito hawks.

We called them the same. It is odd that craneflies would be called mosquito hawks, many species don't eat as adults, or only very little. Some don't even have mouth parts. They only live a few days.

Nothing in Mobile but in a couple of months it will be swarmer season for termites…it is biblical how bad it is.

Our yard is full of mosquito hawks, we were getting tons of them in the house because for whatever reason they hang out by our door. The solution so far is to have a fan blowing at the door to keep them away
