Anyone replace florescent lighting with LED's?

I have quite a few 4ft fluorescent lights around the house and in the garage. With the ballast going bad all the time, lights taking forever to come on and constantly having to tap at the bulb for it to come on is getting old.
I'm about ready to try out LED's.

I just installed two fixtures in my parent's home. They seem to work really well.

I've been looking at doing this. You have to change out the little tombstones the bulb click into as well as re- wiring the fixture.

With the right tubes, not the Home Depot type, the bulbs will plug right in and you by pass the ballast.

We are in the process of upgrading all of our lighting in the community center in my town.
We replaced all the 400watt metal halides with LED and also replaced out 4 buld 4 foot flourescents with LED.
The ones we have done already are very nice and brighter. We still have some to replace in the kitchen and bar area which are 2 strip LED fixtures compared to 4 bulb lights and they seem to be just as bright

What did you use? I'd like to do my garage florecents. The rest of my house is LED except a few decretive type bulbs...and some of those may get switched soon.

MH/HPS is the way to go for best controlled growth.

I'm doing this now. I doing some 18" circular LED's I found for around 80$ each

It looks like there are two options if you do NOT want to replace the fixture:
Get compatible LED bulbs that use the existing ballast. That's assuming the ballast is ok.
Or get LED bulbs where you just rewire and bypass the ballast but use the same connecters.
I am looking into that now. I would prefer to bypass the ballast which fails frequently.

Yes. I replaced all the under-counter fluoros with LEDs about a year ago. I can highly recommend it. I've actually started to replace every light in my house (and flashlights) with LEDs. I even bought a new refrigerator because it had LEDs all throughout it instead of those ridiculous fragile bulbs.
You can't go wrong.

Replaced all of mine with LEDs, so far they are working great. A lot brighter and dont put out 1/10 of the heat the old lights do. I would suggest you keep the receipts though for the warranty purposes. I did have one bulb burn out in like 2 weeks, but they replaced it for free

Works well. At work, We are replacing all our fluorescent bulbs with LEDs. Cheaper to operate, longer life and eliminates a hazardous waste stream. Fluorescent bulbs contain certain levels of mercury, which if broken can contaminate your house.

That bitch Alexa only works 50% of the time with Wink Hub (although I think its Wink that is causing the issue).

I've replaced 7 of them with the Feit shop lights that I picked up at Costco. They had a rebate on them, so I picked them up for about $30 each.
