The rumor at the time was that a police officer friend tipped him off.

It was known within the hour after the shooting that it was Channel 2.

If anyone started a rumor that it was the police it would have been the Doucet family after the shooting.

Do you really think Mike Barnett would let Bud Connor stand next to Jeff during the fatal shot, with someone shooting under his arm, in an airport?

I don't care if this is re-hashed a lot here. I've seen your story on American Justice years ago. On something else also. Seen the footage and often talked about it with friends. I think its really cool that you offer insight on the subject. I hate that you had to experience the entire situation. I hope life is going well for you.

one of the most justifiable homicides of all time, in fact I think Gary Plauche got too stiff a sentence as he was banned from owning firearms after the incident. The man should have been given a firearm as a token of gratitude for removing that scum from the genepool.

Maybe if we offed more rapists there would be less rapists.

I looked it up and its not on 6am sat. Deadline Crime with Tamron Hall is on at that time and covers a murdered young woman. Nothing at 6 pm in case of typo.

I'd like to see it.

Funny how if someone in a low-income neighborhood does it they're a "thug". White coonass guy does it and he's a hero.

Completely disagree, anyone who shoots and kills a person who did that to their child is a hero, instead of a sentence, he should of been given a medal

I was 5 when this happened and never heard about it until maybe 8-10 yrs ago I was watching something that mentioned this. My brother, who is 10 years older than I was watching with me and he told me it happened in Baton Rouge. I thought he was BSing at first because I never heard about it, but then he tld me the whole story. Its pretty crazy.
