What model and year of car/truck? 2002 Civic, 2000 Cherokee XJ, 1999 F250 SuperDuty
How many miles? 205k, 135k, 135k (and a Subaru almost at 100k)
What's been fixed so far? wife blew civic engine somehow at 85k (before I knew her)--rebuild, otherwise very basic maintenance on all.
How much longer are you planning to keep it? dunno. probably selling all soon to consolidate.

Well, when everything you want is within a 20mile radius....

2000 Tundra 4x4 - 175,000
2005 Honda Odyssey - 191,000
2010 Toyota Prius - 196,000
Most work I've had done outside of routine maintenance is on the Odyssey. Wheel bearings, harmonic dampener and AC compressor.
I will probably ditch the Odyssey within the next year, simply because it is the one we use for trips...Other than that, I'm planning on running them till the wheels fall off.

In 1993 I bought a new Mazda pickup, put well over 100k miles on it in the 10 years I had it with hardly any issues. After the 10yr mark things quickly went downhill and it became less expensive to pay a new note than keep repairing it.

'88 Volkswagen Carbiolet had 189K miles before it stopped keeping track. I would guess it had around 300K when it died.
'02 Eclipse had 150K before it started getting expensive on repairs.
'13 Mustang GT had 78K got rid of it cause I was putting way too many miles on it.
currently
2015 Camry XSE- 53K
2014 Tacoma TRD- 58K
Plan to keep both for a long long time.

1969 VW Beetle - I put about 160k on it. Sold it to my secretary's boyfriend who put about another 100k
1979 Lincoln Grand Marquis - put about 150k on it.
1992 Toyota Camry - about 120k and sold it only because I was tired of it.

Wife's 2007 Honda CRV has just under 20,000 miles. She should hit 100K by 2057. I'll update the post when it happens

Typically all my vehicles in the past have had 100k or more all Jeeps. 1 cherokee from the early 90's then 3 grands over the years. I put about 30 k a year on a car only replaced a starter once, and 1 cylinder on one of grands but it was under warranty at the time.

Same here. My 2000 F-150 had about 276,000 when it died. Setting a new rebuilt in it was about $3,000 which was a lot cheaper than another truck. Runs like a cat. Everything else works.
My 2010 Explorer has about 72,000 on it. Probably wind up eventually replacing it.
