I currently have a 1999 Buick GS with 165K miles, 2007 Saab 9-3 with 106K, 1984 Alfa Romeo GTV-6 with 102K, Saab 9-7 with 102K and a 2011 Chevy Impala about to hit the mark with 97K. Needless to say, I am not scared about 100K miles! Regular oil changes, basic maintenance goes a long way!

I bought my 05 Nissan Frontier with my insurance check after Katrina. Just sold it this year with 270,000 miles, no work other than replacing a distributor.
Wife has a 04 Toyota Avalon that she refuses to part with. 148,000 miles currently

153k miles on an 08 Accord coupe. I'll drive it until it dies or until I have a family of my own.
Oil change, air filter, and plugs. Nothing else so far on it, it does have that dreaded loud crank noise when you start it, but it was a Honda problem and they refused to ever fix it on the 4 cylinders

I had a 1985 Honda Prelude that was still going strong at 375,000 until an a-hole ran a stop sign and t-boned me in it. Had the car while I was in school at Auburn. I could drive from my parents' house to Auburn, about a 4 hour drive, in 2.5 hours going around 100 mph the entire trip and not even use a 1/4 tank of gas.
The only things ever done to it were maintenance, not repairs. Oil was changed every 3000, timing chain changed every 100,000, and tires as needed.

350,000 miles on a 1992 F150 long bed straight inline 6. Never any major problems. AC & heat work well, radio & speakers work well, still has strong pick up, has two gas tanks and loves to drink gas. No plans to ever get rid of it!
ETA: that model is the best engine transmission combo Ford has ever made IMHO. Keep the maintenance up and I know I'll get 500k before any major repair. If lucky 1million.

A million without swinging the engine and transmission isn't likely. Can certainly happen, but not likely.
Even if both do crap out who gives a shite? Both can be replaced for less than $5k in the truck. At 500k miles, one $5k repair bill ain't shite compared to a new truck.

Sure. 107k on Scruffy's 06 Honda Civic.
One wreck requiring engine repair.
Gonna ride this baby until she is old and loose.

Every car I've own that I've put more than 100k on. Only the Galant was not drivable when I got rid of it. It was running on 3 cylinders. The Chevy and Mitsubishi has needed major work that left it inoperable. Two fuel pumps and a tranny for the Tahoe and a tranny and broken timing belt in the Mitsu.
1994 Nissan Pickup 2.4l 190k
1994 Mitsubishi Galant 2.4l 255k
1997 Chevy 2dr Tahoe 4x4 169k (Still got this one)
2007 Mazda 5 2.3l 145k
2007 Saturn Vue 3.5L v6 140k

2003 Ranger 2.3L/5-speed manual has 221,000 on it, runs like a top. Replaced the alternator and water pump around 180k. Plan on keeping it until 300k and beyond. My 2000 F150 5.4L only has 64k on it though

I have a 2006 Honda Pilot with 133,000 on it and it's been great.
Should I go ahead and change the coolant and transmission fluid?
