Then how do you know you did those things?

And what's the difference between ambien and ambien CR? I can only take ambien for my job

I took ambien for awhile. No crazy stories because I took it as I was getting into bed and never got up

The only thing is the hangover and you get used to it. My psychiatrist eventually recommended I take it 4 nights a week and not take it the next three nights. But I was like I’m not gonna be miserable from lack of sleep three days a week so I sought something else.

I ended up on klonopin and then seroquel. You build up a tolerance to klonopin as well. But 25-50mg of seroquel is a great sleep aid. I now take 150mg of trazadone and it’s awesome. I get 10 hours of uninterrupted sleep every night

I’m having a string of nights that I go to sleep at 10ish and wake up consistently at 4am. I’ve never tried ambien but am currently trying melatonin. It makes me sleep harder while I’m sleeping but it must wear off at 4am though. Because I’m still waking up.

I agree with you. I’ve heard some fricked up stories of people essentially sleep walking on Ambien. Hell no, not for me.

I rarely eat sugar and I only drink 1 cup of coffee when I wake up. I know all the sleep hygiene tips. I’ve tried melatonin. Some people legitimately need a sleep aid

People that think this is an impossibility are closed minded idiots

There are about 50 things you should try before switching to Ambien.

Don't take it if you have depression problems. It can make you suicidal.

Ambien CR is the extended release version of Ambien. Intermezzo is the "get back to sleep version", for those people who can initially get to sleep but can't stay there.

It's definitely not an impossibility, but ambian should not be the first option

Or the second or third

I tried it for a while but ended up liking the buzz more than I wanted the sleep. So I would stay up and have a few drinks.

Had to shut that down quickly lol

Or maybe you couldn’t sleep without in the first place so you started taking it and you still can’t sleep

Given ambien was approved by the FDA while weed is illegal is proof that the war on drugs and government oversight of big pharma are both freaking charades.

I agree. Trazadone should be your first option. And seroquel is safer and more effective than ambien

Unison works just fine for me. I don’t have trouble sleeping though. My work requires me to switch from days to nights fairly often so when I have to flip my sleep cycle I take one and I’m out within an hour or so.

One of the unisoms is the same ingredient as Benadryl. I have taken 10 Benadryl at a time trying to go to sleep

There is another (doxylamine succinate I think) that’s a tiny bit more effective but it still doesn’t do the trick for me

Stay away from it. It's garbage and like playing Russian roulette every time you lay down at night.
