Hurt like a mofo. My shirt would barely touch it and it felt like the end of the world.

Anyone who’s ever had chicken pox will always carry the virus in their spinal cord until it reactivates as shingles (happens to about 1/3 of folks who had chicken pox)
It totally sucks but there is a…ahem…vaccine for it.

Aaaannd now I’ll show myself out before y’all start throwing things

I got it in my late 20’s. Wasn’t that horrible. I just didn’t wear a shirt for a couple days.

Got it in my mid-thirties on my right hip/side area so wearing a seatbelt or even a t-shirt was unheard of it hurt so bad. I've heard of some people getting it in the facial area near their eyes or ears and that's bad news especially near the eyes. Did have chicken pox as a kid.

I had it back in my early 30s the 2nd day of my vacation. I came home by myself and had a miserable week.

shite is awful, and it will make the toughest hombre wanna cry.

I had shingles about 2007, and sadly it was along nerves in my scalp. It hurt to touch my hair. No lie.

I literally went three weeks with less than an hour of sleep a day. Wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy.

Nope. Had Chicken Pox as a kid, and as soon as I turned 50 I asked for the vaccine. Shingles looks awful...I'd have taken that vaccine in the eye to prevent getting that noise.

Vaccine hurt like hell though...first time I ever had any reaction to a vaccine ever.

Yep, in my early 30s.

It fricking sucked. Still had neuropathic low back for over a year after the rash went away.
