The Short Course has been replaced with the Backyard par 3. Kid friendly but not as nice as the old short course.

Haven't played a bad RTJ course yet. A steal for Alabama residents with the trail card.
Love RTJ courses. Depending how far out you want to book it, package tee times can be outside of 7 days but are subject to cancelation fees.
The amount of money spent on the renovation after Katrina and the end result truly highlights how corrupt and backwards this state is and always will be.

Played this week. Course was great outside of bunkers needing to be either restored, filled or made into waste areas with less slope to them. Overall I was pleased with where it is and the direction it appears to be heading.

Appreciate it. Not looking to spend $150 a person if greens are not in good shape.

Anyone play lately? Any scheduled maintenance coming soon?
Didn't they spend 25 million on the course after the hurricane?
Yeah, I don't see how a 12 mil renovation would elevate it to a destination place. Honestly, you would be better finding another piece of property and bring in Doak or Collins and King to create something better.
I will say when it first opened, it was in phenomenal condition.

Very disappointing to hear. Love the layout and atmosphere.

Condition is subpar. Greens and bunkers are terrible right now.

Ended up playing The Dye Course, it was unbelievable. The course was in top condition and the service was great. Unreal how much elevation the course has. Thanks for the recommendation.

Yeah, I'll be in the Louisville area and see it's only an hour away. Only have time for 1 round, Dye or Ross?

Anyone play the courses? Worth the trip and cost?

I believe it is the most underrated course in Louisiana it's just in the middle of nowhere.
Expecting more pull back?
I wanted to purchase a Tundra as my next vehicle but can't because of the look. It's terrible.
