Fighting it out with my HOA and it's getting ugly - can anyone recommend an attorney in this area who specializes in HOA cases?

Gonna need a link to the covenants and what they're complaining about to help you out with this one. One good thing about the Slidell part is that if they don't enforce a known covenant infraction for a year, the rule is invalid. There were a lot of roll of dumpsters and Katrina cans sitting in driveways for a year in Slidell, so you might have some really good wiggle room.
