My son. His middle name is Weston, so I call him West.

Sometimes I call him Wild Wild West.

He likes it. It works.

I do, causes all kind of problems.

I give first name to food places and people that I’ll never see again

When I am working I get paid every week, and the checks always have my first name and not my middle name at all , so it causes a lot of confusion at first with the foreman

Half the people I work with do, including me.

Two of my sons go by nicknames based on middle names.

Me and my brother have the same first name so we both go by middle names. When I applied for college he had already flunked out a few years before and I was accepted “back in on probation”. I had to go up to the university and straighten out the fact that we were two different people, I was pretty pissed and Asked them if they bothered to do any actual work to realize I was 5 years younger, different SS#, or if they just researched first and last name in their records.
