One time my dog brought an opossum into the house through the dog door. It was pretending to be dead for a while, then woke up and started running around. We trapped it in a cardboard box and shoved it out the door. That was a fun night.

Birds down the chimney many times.
Also, once a snake that found it's way into the bathroom.

This one got stuck in our crawl space.

I've lost count of the mice, moles, and chipmunks that our mauler cat has brought in the house. I keep a BB gun in the bedroom just to deal with them. Killed a small mouse just this week she brought in to play with.

Had raccoons in the house twice. First time they got a goldfish and the second time they just ate up the dog food.

My roommate found a stray cat in his closet and screamed like a little girl. Does that count?

Yes. January 14th, 2006 I had a deer crash through a window in my split level home and do almost $12,000 worth of damage.
How do I remember the exact date? I was at the hospital for the birth of my first daughter. No shite, I come home from a long day at the hospital (we were living in Ames, IA at the time) and my house is absolutely freezing cold. I flip on some lights and see the damage in the downstairs area - glass is freaking everywhere, like a bomb went off.
At first I thought I was robbed, I called 911 and went to grab a gun. In about 3 minutes I realized it was a deer. The muddy prints in the carpet and deer fur gave it away. After several nasty arguments with the insurance company I got the damage covered. Basically had to replace the entire family room because the glass shards were everywhere. Furniture, TV, carpet, everything.
The scary part is if I was at home I would have been laying on the couch watching TV under that window because the Broncos were in a playoff game...
Hopefully never again.

When I was younger a opossum got into our house and was running around.
We had many birds end up inside through out the years. We usually just opened the door and they found their way out.
In college some of my friends put a fricking duck in my room and it shite everywhere. I think they caught it at the LSU lakes. I just kinda pushed him with a stick until he found the door. He ended up going into the woods behind my apartment instead of the other way towards the pond. I hope he found his way out of there.

Yeah but if there had been any kind of human noise in your house that deer wouldn't have come near.

Birds in the screened in patio a couple times a year and my grandma had a squirrel once.

Yes, but after busting my slump I called a cab for that hog.

Squirrel came down the chimney in my parents house once...chewed the shite out of the trim on pretty much every window.
If you want to see animals inside, just got to the BR airport. There's always 2 or 3 sparrows flying around in there.

chipmunks that our mauler cat has brought in the house
Our cat brings in chipmunks all the time. Or tries to. And is usually successful. If they are "presents (read... dead)", she will leave them by the back door and make god awful noises until we come... accept them... for lack of a better word. I guess she thinks she is feeding us. If they are for... later use? She'll meow at the back door and kind of run in with them by the scruff of the neck, then put them down. Then the dogs catch on, and chase them as well. Thankfully, so far, always back outside. Poor little terrorized chipmunks. You'd think they'd learn.

I had let the dog out and left the door open. Damn mocking bird comes hoping on in.
I looked at him and he looked at me and we both went "OH S*&T". He took off flying in the house straight to the window thinking it was outside. I ran and closed all the doors in the house. When he hit the window he got stuck behind the blinds.
I went wake up my wife and got some gloves and my fishing net. Couldn't get him out the blinds so I had to just grab him with the gloves. he was making some god awful screeching sound. I was waiting for a flock of birds to come attack my house. He Sh*t everywhere.. Freaking mess.

Birds a few times and a squirrel twice. We also have had birds in the garage many times but once we had a bat fly in during the evening and get disoriented. Didn't notice him until the next day and then he would not go anywhere near the opening due to the bright light (i guess). It took leaving the garage open for 3 nights before he finally got out.

Not so sure, it was spooked by my dog in the kennel or something else in the backyard and jumped between two bushes that framed a lower level window that might not have had enough light coming through it to deter the panic.

We have had several snakes in the house. When I was still in high school my step dad left for work around 4:30 or so. I was in the shower and heard my mom scream. I thought someone had broken into the house. I ran out of the bathroom wet and naked and she was white as a ghost screaming that there was a snake in the house. Found one that morning and killed it in the laundry room. turned the house upside down that evening and found the other one. They had come in through the dryer vent.
Another time we were staying at some golf resort in Austin and there were deer and turkeys and ducks everywhere. they would come up on the porch and just hang out. My uncle opened the sliding door and damn things would just come in. The ducks were the worst they shite everywhere
