Looks like my Friday is going to be quite the range of emotions. Anyone else ever attended both on the same day?

You know the difference between a wedding and a funeral?
At a wedding, you get to smell your own flowers.

No but I've seen one or two dudes die at the alter... They just didn't know it yet.

yup, for the same family (cousins), and the funeral was for a tragic unexpected death of a child

No, but sorry for your loss....of the bachelor. The other stiff had probably run it's course because of marraige.

My wedding and my Grandmothers funeral was a few days apart. First the funeral then the wedding and honeymoon.

You'd think they could have put the funeral off a day.

I may have.
I know I played for a wedding, two years ago, where one of the family members (autism spectrum, most likely) came in after Mass screaming "f-bombs," punched his father more than once for letting the girl get married, then went out and crashed his car into a line of parked cars.
He injured a man, who ended up dying a month later. His vehicular assault charges were upgraded to murder charges.

A wedding is nothing but a funeral for a man. Trust me I died just a couple years ago.

Yes. Funeral was 20 year old friend with cystic fibrosis. Wedding after funeral was also Friday the 13th themed. Creepy.
