I was 17-18 when they filmed the Oscar winner Mandingo. Actually had a couple lines . Best part was I would eat breakfast with Ken Norton and this actor named Gtwo . I’ve never seen 2 guys eat so much . Interesting experience

The film that got cancelled had Skye Mccole Bartusiak in it. The youngest daughter from The Patriot with Mel Gibson. They eventually did a short film for it, but never the full length. My role was completely cut from the short version.
I've had too much bad luck with it and haven't really attempted any auditions in about 10 years. I do miss it sometimes though.

When I was at SLU, In The Heat of the Night (Carroll O'Connor, Sidney Poitier),Season 1 and 2 was filmed in Hammond. I worked in the restaurant, Brady's, where a lot of scenes were shot. We would close the restaurant and they would shoot days at a time. Just about all of us that worked there were in a lot of episodes - and got paid. It was a blast. I just did a few waiter scenes, but it was cool to watch it all go down.
For a small town, it was cool. We would keep the kitchen open for them when they shot at night. I remember Carroll O'Connor walking up to me and asked, "Who made the Chili?" I had that misinformed stereotypical view of him as being a dick and figured he was going to complain. I told him, "I did, sir." He put his hand on my shoulder and said in a southern drawl, "That's the best chili I ever ate in my life". I was his best friend after that!

An insurance commercial once. Rented a house from a lady who produced commercials and she wanted to use the house for a shoot. She offered my roommate and I each $200-300 to be in it and then she agreed to send a cleaning crew to deep clean the whole house for us. Little did she know, the cleaning was the reason we accepted.
About a month earlier, one of my friends had stayed at our house while in town. He noticed the toilet kept running and managed to break the inside float and fill contraption in a drunken but well intentioned attempt to fix the toilet. Luckily we had 2 bathrooms and just adapted to using the 2nd. Unfortunately, it wasn't long after that someone unknowingly took a shite in bathroom #1, which had remained dry docked for at least a month before the cleaning lady arrived.
I don't remember much about the commercial but I have a vivid memory of the first moment that eye contact was made with the cleaning lady once I got home from work. Embarrassment and shame from my end, a loss of dignity on hers. The owner never mentioned anything but there was some awkwardness in the air during the shoot.

Was an extra in October Sky during the Science Fair in the stands in the gym. Think it was the first before he went to the national one. I graduated high school with the douchey guy that says he likes the rocket display when Homer is standing in front of the Tennessee Theater.

Yup...about mid eighties ...Anthony Taramina (sp?) ad for Judge in Jefferson Parish....In the clip I was a Drug dealer counting money at a table full of Drugs and $$$....I got that gig from someone who approached me at The Ol' Cresent City Gym on Metairie Rd....Good times!

I was a kid in the restaurant scene in They Call Me Bruce. I was a big deal at my middle school a few years later when HBO ran it into the ground.
So freaking boring though. Took all day to film about 2 minutes that are in the movie. Acting sucks. Plus never met Margo Hemingway but Yune was a nice man.

Worked on the movie 'The Toy'. Richard Pryor was a great guy and Jackie Gleason was an arse.
Was an extra in 'Everybody's All American'. Had a non-speaking part but was pretty significant with just me and another extra in a scene with Dennis Quaid and John Goodman. Spent a day and a half filming a 5 minute scene but it was cut from the final version! Got paid though.

I was in a sports illustrated commercial filmed right after LSU beat OU in the Dome. I look a complete mess the whole time. I didn’t even remember filming it until I saw it. We did like 20 takes though.
