It is a real thing going around Twitter and Facebook. People are threatening to go on rampages ("purges") throughout cities for around a certain period of time.
Reportedly the Louisville PD is opening up their emergency operations center to handle it if it actually happens there this weekend.
Note: I'm not saying it is going to actually happen however apparently some LE agencies are taking it as a threat.

BRPD had a direction that they are going with criminals, and it does not include "purging" gang members. When you do that, there is a void left which causes instability
