Do you not realize that tens of thousands of people are buying merchandise from Amazon right now? And that UPS/USPS/FedEx are slammed?
Give those delivery men and women a break, jesus.

Only one. I ordered a book and although it was supposedly "in stock" it took a couple of days of "prep" or something like that before they shipped it. Sounded like a way for them to get around the 2 day thing more than anything.
Other that that one instance, the stuff I've gotten from them have arrived on time.

Behold Amazon's Get Out Of Jail Free card:
In other words, Amazon promises two day delivery on the sale and we buy it. USPS promises to meet the deadline to get the shipment. Amazon accepts. USPS does its shitty job and your package arrives a few days late. Amazon says it's not their fault. USPS doesn't give a frick what you think.
Until consumers hold Amazon accountable for the shite that is USPS, nothing will change.
Don't see this problem when they use UPS by the way.

Happened to me recently. Last several packages have been way late or marked “delivered” and not.
They need to get their shite together. Free two day shipping is the difference between them and the competition

I had a 2 day shipping package arrive a day late this week.
I’m surprised it arrived when it did because the amazon agent didn’t know where it was in transit. Amazon refunded me the shipping and has always been great in terms of customer service.
Like someone else said, its with the third party carriers. USPS is beyond the worst, have problems with them every package. UPS and FedEx are flawless.

I think people are buying prime expecting two day, then not reading the shipping times. For instance I bought something prime yesterday, but it's not expected to ship until next week.

Just got a "We're sorry your package is late" email. It has been a 4 day wait now.

And our tax dollars subsidize their shite-showery.

Don’t blame Amazon. Blame shitty USPS. Have you seen the employees at those shite holes? Competent isn’t a word they often use in the workforce.
In my years of amazon shopping I’ve had about 15 usps packages late or “lost” and about 1-2 from ups/fedex.

My issue is that my stuff gets to Huntsville in 2 days, but then takes another day or 2 because UPS doesn't delver the packages. They get the packages in and then take them to the fricking post office and the mailman delivers them.

Make sure your yearly fee is paid up to qualify for prime shipping. That happened to me, stuff took longer than two days, checked and found my year was up, my card was changed and didn't renew,

Had one today that said delivery by 8pm. Now says check back on Sunday if it still hasn’t arrived. Tracking shows it shipped. Changed locations twice. Yet my 2 day shipping has been delayed by 3-4 more days because USPS? That’s the only conclusion I can come up with.

My USPS driver will mark mine undeliverable and then take an extra day to deliver despite my being home all day and no one ever ringing my bell or knocking. Did I mention when they do deliver they just drop at the back door?

lost
Father told me he's had 2 packages lost.
He said it's not post carriers or one of ups/fedex doing the deliveries, it's derelicts in unmarked white vans, not knocking, just throwing shite and sprinting back to their vehicles.
Amazon using sub contractors???? I thought USPS was going to be dealing with their packages?

and like someone said, even if it's "Prime", make sure to read the shipping terms. Some vendors at amazon don't process the order for 5-10 days if you read but once it ships it's usually 2 days for me. Between business and family I get a minimum of a dozen packages a month and pretty reliable.

They’re horrible. My driver took out our mailbox. When I asked nicely if she did it, she quickly blew up on me. Meanwhile, the dumb bitch didn’t know we had security cameras at our house clearly showing what happened. Showed video to the local manager, they paid for a new mailbox, and never saw her again.

bought a new bathroom sink and it arrived today in many many pieces. Went through the return process hoping it would just refund me the money but they wan't me to send it back. PITA to corral all the shards and repackage it up.

I had a package just not show up two weeks ago and they refunded me for it after a quick chat. I was impressed with how pleasant the customer experience was, compared to other companies I've dealt with.

I did not renew my prime over a year ago. Never really missed it. They offered me a free 30 day trial a couple of weeks ago. I've ordered about 10 things since. 50% of them don't show up on time. Some got lost, then showed up days later. Every time I've had to contact customer support, and waste my time getting shite fixed. I won't extend past the trial. Amazon is getting worse by the day.

Ha! My most recent order was for some light bulbs. Got them, and one didn't work. Chatted with customer service, they said they'd give me an instant credit on my account, and send me a link to re-order. I agreed. Got the email, clicked the link, OUT OF STOCK for a couple of weeks!
