On Tuesday I shipped three packages to three diferent places... one in AL, one in GA, one in WA. Three identical packages with the same thing in each and all sent via USPS Priority Mail, all in the same size priorty mail flat rate box.

USPS Priority Mail says it will deliver in 1-3 days. It seemed odd to me that from NOLA, going to AL, GA, and WA would all take the same time. Expected delivery date for all three is today. All 3 days.

I tracked all three. They all say "moving through network in transit to next facility". They all say expected delivery by today 9 pm. None of them have hit the "preparing for delivery" much less the "out for delivery" stage.

DId I just set $135 of items and postage on fire?

Anytime I see delivery by 9pm I automatically know it will be late.

USPS has always been good for me.

I see others have trouble, but my stuff arrives in a timely fashion.

Just don't hear about it because people only post to biatch.

I can understand 3 days to get to WA

Three days to get from NOLA to Birmingham AL is absurd.

I posted a similar thread a few weeks ago. Tread carefully. There are a surprising number of people here who absolutely love the USPS and will defend it to the death.

USPS priority used to be good. The last year or so it has been absolute trash. I shipped something to Austin last month that is just lost in limbo. I just tried to ship something else to the same address in Austin, and it's been 9 days and has just now today hit a distribution center in Dallas.

Postal employees ae complaining on YouTube videos that their current contract sucks. They were offered like a $0.45 raise in pay. No one wants the job anymore. Retired letter carriers are not being replaced.

We may be witnessing the final days of the USPS .

I have absolutely zero trouble with usps. I ship and received probably 10 packages combined a week that I print labels and my kind reliable mail lady grabs from my mailbox

Knock on wood but I can't remember the last time I've had a package not be on time.

USPS is total crapshoot.

Mostly a losing bet.

Absolutely! After years of not having mail sent to my house by USPS(no receptical, but some items will not send to PO Box), I was advised to list address as "111 Street Name #PO Box Number", and it absolutely worked.

I was absolutely astonished, astonished, I tell 'ya!

Locally the USPS is very good here, whereas, FedEx flat out sucks delivering to wrong addresses (neighbors included) and delayed deliveries where packages in BR are delivered after the tracking date.

I had an issue I posted about in January. I'd ordered a gift for someone and tracking showed it was going back and forth from Dallas to BR about 3 times. I called USPS and a live person actually answered and looked into it. Seems there may have been a issue with the barcode, but she assured me they would take care of it. It was delivered within the next day or so, finally, and I even got a call following up on it to ensure it was delivered properly. I was shocked.

I ordered something from South Florida on Monday. Was supposed to arrive today...

It just hit Orlando last night at 10:50 PM.

Yea, Trump wants the USPS to be ran by a private sector and once again this is a very very very very very bad thing according to people with TDS. Meanwhile, nobody can get their fricking mail on time with the gov running it

FedEx is the one giving us trouble. Been having all sorts of issues with them and their tracking sucks.

I sure did, just received a Rhino hood rack bar for my Durango on Tues. of this week. Now I did order the pair of them back in November and only received one of them on time because they are sold individually. But after several weeks of it not showing up the company shipped me a replacement for the missing one. Now the missing one has arrived 3-1/2 months later so thanks to USPS I now have 3 rack bars

I am having the same exact same problem, but I am the buyer of an item that I purchased on Feb. 8th.. I keep on logging on the status and it says the same thing since Feb. 12. I went to the USPS Office yesterday and they told me since it is still "in transit", there's nothing that they can do.

I tracked a package and the notification says “USPS is in possession of your items”. No delivery estimate or anything, so I go to the post office, give them the tracking number and the lady says “it isn’t here”. I asked her if she knows where it is and she replies “at another post office”
