My DD is a 991.2 Turbo S but it isn't much of a compromise except in room. It is fairly compliant except on really poor pavement. The wife's daily is an F90 M5 Comp which she planned to trade for the new M5 but the new one seems to have missed the mark for us.

I worked with a guy who commuted 45 min - 1 hr in a 35 year old Jaguar that got 8 miles to the gallon (premium only) and broke down once a month. He finally figured out how much money he was flushing down the toilet and bought a small Japanese sedan.

I had a jeep wrangler tj as my only vehicle for 4 years. 4" suspension lift, 33" mud tread.

Would have been a lot more fun if that was my college vehicle.

2023 Corvette is my daily driver but, since I work from home, I don’t drive it every day.

Used to have an M5 as my DD. Always a blast embarrassing Vette & Porsche owners.

I like it when the M5 guys roll up. They usually bail after I hit the rolling anti lag button.

They’re savage from stop light to stop light. My buddy who’s on his 3rd UR lambo and had a few 10.5 and radial cars just got a Plaid and he loves it. Replaced a Bentley as his daily.

Nothing better than a 911 for a fun DD.

My car is a sub 3 car and if I'm gonna challenge one I gotta watch close.
No recovery if they get the jump.

A few years ago I bought a 2020 Miata. I’ve been driving work vehicles for years (F250 then a Tacoma) and finally decided to leave work at work and at least enjoy my commute to/from work. 2200 lbs 180+ hp and 6 speed manual transmission. Money well spent.

I drive a ‘22 Bronco that I’ve put over 50 hours of work into with 40+ mods. Does that count?

had a 80 CJ7 with a built AMC 360 in it. Usually had the bikini top on it; left the doors and hardtop off most of the time.

Drove it to work when wx cooperated. Long hair and tie flying in the wind lol.

The heater worked well plus the heat emanating from the engine and the trans helped too in the winter.

Fortunately the commute was ~12 miles one way. 8mpg in a 15gallon tank wasn't very efficient.

My truck I use for work is a 7.3 excursion 4x4. I can pull my decoy rig and fit 7 customers and my dog in it.

When I’m not working I drive my 86 cutlass, it’s only got 76,000 miles on it.

Woof. And I thought my TJ was rough.

Yeah, that cured the Jeep thing for me. My wife has a JK or JKU or whatever they call the new pretend Jeeps. I like it. It's fairly comfortable to ride in and made simply. Kinda reminds me of a late 90's 4runner.

You could sell that thing for $20k in the right market.

Oh I know, I actually had a farmer in Canada offer me
More than 20k for it last year. I don’t think I’ll ever sell it though. It’s been very reliable and it works for me and to replace it I’m looking at spending more than I paid for my first home, I just can’t stomach paying $80k+ for a pick up or SUV.
