re: Dash Cam + Detector

I use a Uniden R8 radar detector along with a Viofo A229 Pro 4k dashcam. The R8 is currently the king of windshield mounted radar detectors when it comes to range and reactivity to brief radar signals. It also has GPS lockouts for store door openers that use K-band and filters out other car blin...

Currently have a 2021 GT500. 760hp 5.2L supercharged V8 with the Tremec 7-speed DCT. Also previously owned a 2015 GT and 2011 GT. Can’t go wrong with any Mustang GT or higher trim. Just be aware that the new 2024s aren’t tunable yet and may not be for a while. There is a Ford Performance supercharge...
So I need to downsize to a 65" but I didn't want to downsize without upgrading.
IMO, I don't think 65" at 8k resolution is even worth it. The pixel density is so tiny at the 65" size that you would have to sit really close to the TV (less than 6-8 ft) for your own eyes to be able t...
Wanna have full use of the Series X and do a little future proofing.

The Series X will never be able to actually push 8k in games that you'll actually care about
He needs HDMI 2.1 not for 8k but for VRR, ALLM, and 4k 120hz that the XBox Series X can do. Just be aw...
anyone have this TV and can give some feedback.
I've had the QN900A in the 85" flavor for almost a year now (April 2021). The 8K resolution with the mini-LED tech is something to behold. The upsampling is also really really good when watching something in native 4k or even standard...

Look for an Air B&B or VRBO in the Terlingua or Lajitas area. There are no hotels there other than the Lajitas Resort, but it's pricey. The nearest mid-sized town from Big Bend is Marfa or Alpine, TX where you may find a hotel, but that's 1 hour 30 mins from Big Bend. Also, get groceries and alcohol...

Uniden R3 is solid. One of the longest range detectors on the market. Had it for over a year before I upgraded to the R7 which has arrows letting you know the direction of the radar source....
