Anyone have a neighbor flying a "controversial" flag?

There's a guy down the street in Gretna with a Confederate flag flying on his front lawn. This is in a racially mixed neighborhood but most folks don't seem to care.

I wouldn’t care. I’m sure the neighbors probably are the ones that wouldn’t fly it themselves, but don’t mind the affect it has in deterring certain new movers.
Either way I just consider it an easier way to identify people I wouldn't be friends with. Not that it inherently makes you a bad person, I just don’t personally think I’ve ever liked someone that would fly one.

My neighbor proudly flies the stars & bars. No one says anything, nor should they as it's his damn property.

the "edgiest" thing we get on the coast is Trump flags, but that's just some high school kid that flies it out the back of his truck to troll people
I guess some people see the Stennis flag and roll their eyes - it's the proposed alternative to the current state flag - but I actually like it a lot.

My neighborhood is a bunch of Vols and Bama flags. I'm the only one with an LSU flag, so I guess I'm the controversial neighbor

It really isn't for most people who fly it. It certainly isn't for the idiot with the jacked up, straight piped, loud as hell piece of shite Dodge that drives past my house every day. I have a neighbor that flies a US Flag. I'm sure that's offensive to some people.
