I got guilted into being the treasurer for our 10th reunion. I won't make that mistake again.

we've had one official reunion, our 40th. So no, no stories from me.
12 out of a possible 17 showed up.

I remember my grandmother going to her 50th reunion. It was a very small school and there were only about five of them left.

Yep, my 40th will be in 2029

I've never been to one either. I've just never had must interest in them. My 30th will be next year, but it's not likely that I'll go.

One of my high school classmates turned out to be a regionally-famous billboard lawyer. Imagine my shock/panic when I first saw his ads. I want to think I took pity on his brutally-picked-upon nerdiness in school, if only because for the grace of God there went he instead of me.
Nerd #2 still shivers some 50 years later.

Unless you frick the former prom queen in the bathroom at the reunion, are there really any good stories?

My cousin Freddy smashed someone from the Homecoming Court. He graduated from Jesuit in ‘99

My 20 year reunion is this fall. I'd rather scrub my nipples off with brillo pads than go back to my shitty small town.

Same here. Missed the 1st, 5th, 10th, 20th, 30th and 40th. And will miss every one they have in the future. I have a couple of really good friends from back then and I see numerous others occasionally... but I have no desire to get together with all of them and rehash crap from 40 years ago or play catch up, hear the latest gossip, "network", none of that.

I have one. One of our overweight and not at all attractive classmates who was always a riot and out of control was at our 20th reunion. She proceeded to pull out her titties in front of a bunch of young guys and girls outside of the bar. They were having fun listening to her clown around, and then looked petrified when the sisters came out.
This was not unusual for said classmate, but much funnier to see some unexpected "victims" react to her antics.

My graduating class is pretty unique. Many of us have kept in touch, or never really had a ton of cliques and groups. My ten year reunion was a blast. We did it at Jax Brewery and honestly they had to shut off the music and turn off the lights to get us out of there. I missed my 20th because of COVID. 25 this year and there’s talk of doing one which I’d love to do so.

juicy stories

like the most popular girl now being obese with 6 kids, the class valedictorian burnt out after college, that geeky kid from algebra becomes ripped/financially successful, etc.

The only thing that would be interesting about a high school reunion is seeing who would be enough of a loser to go to a high school reunion.

Went to an all-boys Catholic school. So, there is never going to be any sort of long-term reuniting hook-up stories. Unless, of course you went to Jesuit!
