Anxiety usually wakes me up at 4a, but the Philips unit is a life saver in the odd nights that I sleep like a normal human.

Sucks, doesn't it? Wake up nervous for no damn reason at all. You know the second you wake up that you're not falling back asleep.

I guess it would work once but then I’d have to buy a new phone because I’d toss the damn thing across the room.

I can scarce remember a night when I didn't wake up at least once to check the time for fear of oversleeping my alarm.

Waking up peaceful is unattainable when I haven't pissed in 8 hours.

Had one for years but it always went off before sunrise. Was mine defective?

my neighbors somewhere nearby have one. That fricker crows all hours of the day/night. Hence why I’m posting at 1:15am. Couldn’t imagine having that coming from my own yard. How the hell have they not shot that thing by now?

I use one. It doesn’t work for me. I only use it when I’m working days and after 20mg of melatonin and that thing going off at 0215 it’s pretty much useless

I use Philips model. If you’re not a morning person, then it won’t turn you into one. But it is nice not waking up in the dark.

How do you function now with DST late sunrises in March after 6:30?

Sleeping 8 hours without getting up to piss will be unattainable for you eventually

I started using my Hue lights with the wake-up function several years back. Works great for me. I am not a morning person, but I have to get up early for work. The lights cause the least amount of cussing.

Unless I have an early morning flight, I don’t use an alarm clock.

Me neither. Work starts at 7. I’m usually there a half hour early, or more. But about once per week I sleep until 7 and get to work at 8. That’s the best sleep ever! Obviously your employer has to tolerate that.
