I know someone like that. When he gets a day off his wife grouches she didn't (they don't work together). He goes to trivia once a week and she complains. Not that she's not invited, she is. She just doesn't like the other people and therefore doesn't like the husband hanging out with them.

When I go play golf with the buddies, have a few beers, and come home in a good mood….my ex wife used to get mad. Why she’s my ex. I struggled for a long time wondering why I was never allowed to have fun. F*** those types. Move on.

This. My wife would make snide comments about me being at the camp all the time. I brought her to the camp once and when she realized how much of a shithole it is she started treating me like I'd came back from the war.

The ONLY reason she might have a point is if you have small kids and you’re always leaving her with them to party or hang out with friends.
