It's terribly discouraging, because everyone knows that 99.999999% of people just want to get along and harbor no racism towards others, yet the .00000001% cause all of these issues that ultimately affect all of us.

This is what I did two years ago. While the state of MS as a whole has a good bit of culcha... my County is over 80% white and probably 90% conservative. Kids school is 97% white. Even people of color here don’t seem to have that chip on the shoulder attitude and everyone will tell you to have a blessed day. Moving was the best decision of my life.

You can lose perspective quite easily like that.
If you want a homogeneous society with a culture of everyone pulling in the (relative) same direction, respecting each other's opinions, with a low crime rate, I'd just move to a European country. Sweden, Norway, Netherlands, Switzerland, even Germany. Of course, you need a pretty in demand skill and a good amount of money to do this, but it's sorta what you seem like you're after.
I live in a 90% white county. It is a blue county, but it's white. It gets really vanilla and bland after a while of living here. Very safe and clean, but I still think if you get too much of any one demographic in one city, you're city will suffer in some way or another. It's the same for cities with over 60% black, 60% hispanic, etc. Eventually the majority's culture starts to take over.
ETA - Boise is an amazing city, and while some of that may have to do with demographics, I think a lot of it has to do with their downtown, history, and a really amazing outdoor recreation scene.
But I have considered moving to Memphis as well, for everyone in here shitting on Memphis. If I can get an internship there, I'd consider it. Great history, great food, great music. Seems like a really cool town, with relative ease of access to a lot of CFB stadiums.

I am tired of seeing weak leadership at the local, state, and at times even federal level. These idiots are being allowed to attack people and destroy businesses without consequences. That shite used to not be tolerated by those we elected, by the people, or by law enforcement. We have become a weak nation and allow the media to herd us like scared little sheep.
However I live in the Ms Delta which is 70% black and no problems here life has been going about like normal. But there is a big difference in these small town black folk and the inner city ones.
