Anyone besides me consider a woman with Tik Tok an absolute "no go."

I realize I'm almost 60, divorced, and really have no desire to date, but even if I did I simply cannot fathom ever dating someone with a Tik Tok account. The level of narcissism and hubris a woman (or anyone for that matter) must have to think her personal thoughts and opinions are so important that the populace at large find them interesting screams selfishness. I honestly can't rationalize why anyone would remotely consider a relationship with someone with such a "me first" mentality. Guess I'm just a dinosaur.

Even more baffling is the middle aged self described Baws that scroll ticker tocker and even post links talking about it.

Should be embarrassing. I’m embarrassed for them.

There is a strange phenomenon whereby women will post videos of them behaving as if they are having a chat with millions of people and they only get 5 “likes”.

This must be some kind of “cry for help”.

Tiktok has contributed nothing positive to society.

Like TD, just another form of social media. Not my cup of tea but would be hypocritical to lament its use based on my proclivity to scroll TD

I'd be more concerned if a woman told me "I don't want to go out" or "we will just pick up our food and eat at home", then go immediately to the couch and start surfing. It's really concerning behavior that all people want to do is recluse themselves into a hole and stare at their phones.

The last thing any man should want is his mate broadcasting personal thoughts into the ether. It's just so bizarre and counter to how I was raised. I feel personal issues should be kept personal. This new age thinks it somehow appropriate to tell the world their every thought.

agreed, a 60 yr old with tik tok would be annoying as hell and old.

A hot 30 yr old w TT would probably be ok I guess, but still annoying.

Are you talking about TikTok or your TD usage? 2 sides of the same coin.

And i'd venture to bet most TikTok users are just scrolling and not posting content.

Depends how involved they are. Most people don’t even make videos I’d imagine.

This is like saying you won't date someone because they have a youtube account.

You do not have to post, you can just watch videos... like youtube.

The two young women I know who post there both have narcissistic egos the size of minor planets. Both are very attractive though and had a clinical need to be the center of attention from a very young age.

But the anonymity negates most possible narcissistic motivations, so it's a bit different.

Somewhere on Tik Tok, some gal is posting a video warning women to stay away from dudes on TD.

Which is not bad advice . . . .
