Idk what it is about them but anytime i'm around one i get a really uneasy feeling and have to get away. I was at a freinds childs birthday party and they had a horse there giving the kids rides and I just kept warning the kids to not get too close because you never know how a wild animal will react. Spent the entire time under the covered area with my back turned. Any body else here have similar feelings?

Feel a little inadequate next to a stallion eh?

I’m not scared of them. But I damn sure ain’t riding one, unless there’s plenty of booze.

I hate the fricking things because my dad forced me to ride when I was young. Instead of being a cowboy I became a gigantic pussy who is scared of horses.

Nope, I have been thrown off one and had another roll over on me though. Horses have great ability to pick up your energy and act accordingly

I am. I don't mess with anything that has metal feet.

I’ve been thrown off, stepped on, rolled over, all as like a 12-14ish year old. Surprisingly it hurt way less than you would imagine. No lasting injuries

Not really afraid, but definitely not a fan of them. Mini-horses in particular can be kuntz. Friend tried to pet one on the way home from the bar in college and caught a pretty good bite from a frisky one. Tried to warn him.

Neither were too bad but it's a long way down and you don't bounce as much when your 30

I grew up around horses. For the most part they are pretty gentle animals but they are huge and can frick you up whenever they so choose. It's usually when they get spooked by something, or if you let them think they're in charge (seen it happen to women).

Horses arent wild animals.
I have been around horses since I was a kid. My grandparents trained quarter horses. I dont mind riding them but Im not getting on just any horse. I wont try to break one either. I like trail rides but I wont own a horse. They cost too much to keep up and I wouldnt ride enough to make it worth it.

Was bit by one as a kid and nearly bit by one a few years ago. I wouldn't say afraid, but I do actively avoid them

I had a horse when I was a child that was an a-hole. Haven't really liked them since. I'm not afraid of them, but have no desire to go horse back riding again.
