If you don't know what I'm talking about, there was a time when markers were fruit scented. The purple was grape, the orange was, well orange. Etc. Heck, I think crayons were even scented at one point.

It just donned on me, what a horrible idea that was.

I remember wanting to eat the purple marker so bad.

How is this a thing? Even if the ink is not poisonous, the chances of swallowing a marker is pretty high.

If your kid is eating markers it is best for society to know early on

Blue and purple were awesome. Yellow was weak as hell

I'm pretty sure they were non-toxic and water based. It would have just been a little fiber had someone eaten them.

I also remember the scratch and sniff fruit stickers. And the GOAT, Alabama Power had scratch and sniff natural gas stickers! Whew, those made an impact on a kid.

Had a corporate trainer at work that sniffed them while talking on how to use some new software. This Jersey girl usually had red, blue, and lavender spots under her nose.

So you wanted to be a Darwin Award winner? Probably should’ve let you fulfill that goal.

Everything is kind of a blur after the glue eating incident.
