And as of right now, there are ZERO frames showing any contact. That is fact.
Roidster finds a witness that testifies old man pushed him and roidster has a defense.

He absolutely did. Just by saying what he said is threatening. Furthermore, he walked to the elderly man. Had he not walked over, none of that happens. The guy should've got in the vehicle and left.
If you watch the video again, you can see the tops of their heads that are in sync with the sounds you hear in the video too.
And I would assume there are other cameras around in that parking lot as well that have views from other angles.

I never said he wasn't wrong.
I'm saying nothing happens if old man doesn't keep pushing his buttons, following him and "possibly" initiating contact with him.
This 98% looks like it is what it is - a POS roidster raging... but we live in a country where we're supposed to not act immediately on the 98% and allow our institutions and processes to determine criminal outcomes.

Roid first went to old man, there were some back and forths, likely enough to prevent either one from claiming self defense (bc they both could technically be aggressors at that point) but nothing the old man did justified Roid punching him hard in the face. Nothing.

If this a-hole is a active duty officer in the Army, he faces court martial and the catch all charge is Conduct Unbecoming an Officer. He might get an all expense paid trip to Ft Leavenworth along with an extended stay at a place that can be worse than Angola. Well deserved.

What is CLEAR is Roider Ron verbally threatening multiple individuals, old man going down, hitting the ground, and sustaining injuries. Roider Ron should also incur a parking violation. Roider Ron will also have eye witness accounts that probably don’t help his cause.

Title 14:36 of the Louisiana Criminal Code says otherwise. Especially when you consider that he actually committed a battery moments later.
ETA: for non Louisianians, think of an "attempted battery" as being an assault here.
